The FIM confirmed that Portuguese rider Jorge Brandao tragically passed away following an accident on stage five of the Rally du Maroc on 17 October 2025.
He crashed in the dunes at kilometre 214 and, despite receiving prompt medical attention and being airlifted to a hospital in Erfoud, he later succumbed to his injuries.
Jorge, from Arouca, Portugal, was an experienced enduro and cross-country rally rider.
The FIM and Rally du Maroc extend their heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
