Lotte Van Drunen Wins WMX Title

The final round of the 2025 FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship was held at Hidden Valley Raceway in Darwin, delivering an exciting conclusion to the season. Riders praised the technical and fun track, making it the perfect stage for the championship showdown.

Lotte van Drunen from De Baets Yamaha MX-Team claimed her second consecutive World Championship by staying calm under pressure and finishing fourth in the final race, securing the points she needed. Kiara Fontanesi and Daniela Guillén finished second and third overall, with Fontanesi winning several races and Guillén taking key victories during the season.

Van Drunen’s consistent and measured riding throughout the season allowed her to fend off close rivals and cement her position as one of the leading figures in women’s motocross, while the championship highlighted thrilling performances and strong competition in front of passionate Australian fans.
