Marquez Wins Misano Thriller

Marc Marquez claimed a thrilling victory at the Misano MotoGP, holding off Marco Bezzecchi after a close battle for the win. Alex Marquez finished third, securing a strong podium for Gresini Racing.

Several crashes and mechanical failures affected top riders, including Jorge Martin, Francesco Bagnaia, and Maverick Viñales. Marquez took the lead on Lap 12 and set the fastest laps in the final laps to maintain his advantage, finishing 0.415 seconds ahead of Bezzecchi.

With this win, Marquez moves closer to the MotoGP World Championship title, while the top two finishers were well ahead of the rest of the field. Other notable results included Franco Morbidelli in fourth, Fabio Di Giannantonio fifth, and Luca Marini seventh.

The Misano rounds also saw Moto2 and Moto3 action, with Celestino Vietti winning his first race of 2025 in Moto2, and Jose Antonio Rueda taking a dramatic last-corner victory in Moto3, extending his championship lead.
