Defending champion Sammy Halbert made a strong comeback in the 2025 FIM Flat Track World Championship at round four in Scheessel, Germany. With an unbeaten performance in all his heats and a commanding Grand Final win—including the fastest lap bonus—Halbert added 26 points, narrowing the gap to series leader Ervin Krajčovič to just two points with two rounds remaining.
Italy’s Kevin Corradetti and other riders, including Czech debutant Vít Janoušek, showed strong performances in earlier heats, but Halbert’s speed and skill on the 1,000-metre track proved unbeatable. Key highlights include Arangio, Neave, and Corradetti battling closely for positions behind Halbert in the Grand Final.
The final standings for the top ten were:
Sammy Halbert
Kevin Corradetti
Tim Neave
Santiago Arangio
Ondřej Švédík
Ervin Krajčovič
Jack Bell
Menno Van Meer
Vít Janoušek
Thomas Hunt
The championship resumes after a three-week break at Vasad, Hungary on 13 September.
