MotoJunior Launches New Incentives

The FIM MotoJunior World Championship has introduced a new incentive program from 2026 to 2028 to encourage teams to sign riders from underrepresented countries in MotoGP.

Eligible riders must be 18 or younger, from countries with over 100,000 population, and have less than 10% representation in MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3. They must not have been permanent entries in Moto3 or Moto2 before.

Team incentives include:

  • €200,000 for Moto3 Junior winner with 4 race wins

  • €100,000 for Moto3 runner-up with 3 race wins

  • €50,000 for Moto3 third place with 2 race wins

  • €100,000 for Moto2 European winner with 4 race wins

Riders finishing in the top 10 will also receive rewards. The program aims to increase access and equal opportunities for riders from less represented countries, promoting diversity in MotoGP.
