Bulega Leads Phillip Island Test

Testing at Phillip Island saw Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) dominate, topping all four sessions and completing 138 laps, proving Ducati’s strong form by taking the fastest four spots.

Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS) was second, six-tenths behind, while Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven) impressed with third. Axel Bassani and Alex Lowes of Bimota by Kawasaki also showed strong pace.

Crashes affected Jake Dixon (injured wrist), Stefano Manzi, and Alvaro Bautista, but most riders completed multiple laps for race prep.

In Supersport, Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing Verdnatura) led despite heavy rain cutting the session short. PTR Triumph teammates Oli Bayliss and Tom Booth-Amos were second and third.

Masia set a fastest combined time of 1’32.525, showing strong consistency and confidence ahead of the opening race weekend.
