Doctor Dr Angel Charte has described Marc Marquez’s shoulder injury as “serious,” after surgery that was required following a crash at the Mandalika race.
Marquez will be immobilised for four weeks before starting rehab, ruling him out for the rest of the 2025 season and the Valencia post‑season test.
The injury is especially problematic because Marquez’s right arm has had several previous operations, and a premature return could have jeopardised his career.
